Simple Protein Waffles



Add these to your breakfast rotation! So freaking delicious and SUPER EASY to make! 

Best part - kid friendly and has a vegetable they’ll NEVER suspect (not that I think you should "hide" things from your kids in their food)! 

I took my favored Oat Bran Protein Pancakes, and turned them into waffles!

Only added 1 more ingredient and VOILA. 

Here’s what you need:

  • 1/3 cup GF OatBran (I like Bob's Red Mill)
  • 1/3 cup egg whites
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Vegan Shakeology)
  • 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
  • 1/2 medium zucchini shredded (adds volume)
  • Pinch of cinnamon & Himalayan Sea Salt

Mix together in a bowl and pour into your pre-oiled waffle maker! This was 1 serving, so double or triple for extras! 

Top with your favorite seasonal berry, Organic Maple Syrup & nut butter (1 tsp). 

The macros for this were: 

Protein: 35g

Fat: 12g

Carbs: 60g (you can drop the carbs using a regular protein powder. Shakeology has some extra carbs as it’s a Meal Replacement Shake).
